Brick slip clad steel soffits had been supplied to site with the wrong brick slips attached.
The brick slips that had been fitted were not just the wrong colour, they were also tumbled texture, not stock brick texture. As well as the base colour difference, they were also missing the black 'iron speckles' from the brick face.
14 lightweight brick soffits in total were affected.
Skilled Remedial Repair brickwork technicians used brick repair techniques to turn the tumbled brick texture into a traditional stock brick and to reduce the mortar joint size. We then colour tinted the brick and mortar to blend with the surrounding brickwork.
