This single-storey rear extension to a private property in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, was built in the correct facing brick, but batch variances that can often occur with natural clay facing bricks meant that the finished build brickwork did not match the original house brick closely enough, leaving the extension with a 'bolted on' appearance.
Remedial Repair technicians attended the site once the build was completed and colour-tinted all the brickwork to blend with the adjoining house brick, including all the multi-colour blends within this particular brick type.
